As the summer quickly approached and the plans to explore began to come together, we (my husband & I) impulsively put a deposit down to begin building a new home!! Within a week we moved out of our home, listed it, and moved into my in laws in Maryland.
What. Just. Happened.
It’s now been about 3 weeks (I think?) and I still don’t think we have processed it all. A move is a big life change and so much has happened this past month that we haven’t been able to go out and explore!
Our summer so far has consisted of lots of pool days (little kiddie pool on the deck & the new bigger yard pool) and spending time with family.
I wanted my purpose for this blog to be more of a fun things to do in the area, but it might just be a more personal real-life journey through living and loving the DMV and all the changes we are experiencing!
